The Limits of Control

Starring Isaach De Bankole, Tilda Swinton, Bill Murray, Gael Garcia Bernal, John Hurt

In this black comedy thriller, an unnamed criminal travels through Spain in order to complete a  mysterious job, encountering a series of peculiar characters along the way.
Every person he meets has a similarly enigmatic name - Blonde, Mexican, Nude, Molecules, etc. -  and presents him with a matchbox hiding a coded message and instructions to his next destination.
With The Limits of Control, independent film-maker Jim Jarmusch continues to be the perfect antidote to those big Hollywood blockbusters we all grew so tire of a very long time ago.


Unmade Beds

Starring Fernando Tielve, Deborah Francois, Michiel Huisman, Iddo Goldberg, Richard Lintern

Directed by Argentinian Dos Santos, this British indie flick follows the stories of  two twenty-somethings, a Spanish boy, Axl, and a Belgian girl, Vera, squatting a warehouse in Hackney, London.
Axl has moved to London to find his long-lost father and discover truths about his past, while Vera is escaping from a failed love story back home.
Oblivious to each other´s existence until the film´s final reel, the two will inevitably meet.
Unmade Beds is Alexis Dos Santos´ second feature film after the critically-acclaimed Glue (2006).
