Mark Whitacre,  a senior manager in an agri-business multinational, is employed by the FBI to spy on the illegal activities of the company he works for. The film is based on the true story of severely bipolar Kurt Eichenwald, who in the 1990s became responsible for blowing the whistle in one of the biggest price-fixing cases in US history.

A Serious Man

Set in 1967, the latest Coen brothers' effort tells the comic/tragic story of physics professor Larry Gopnik, an ordinary, 'serious' man trying to come to terms with his very dysfunctional family, made up by one unfaithful wife, two selfish teenage children and an eternally unemployed brother.

Poliakoff's political thriller is mysterious tale set around a traditional British family on the eve of World War Two.
