My Dance the skull

My Dance the Skull is an independent publishing house, founded in 2009 and based in London. Gathering every type of artistic background and respecting each way of thinking and living, the publisher aims to promote contemporary artists, inspired by the dangerous and mysterious beauty of everyday living.

My Dance the Skull explores photography, ordinary objects, drawings, bullets, poetry, blood, music, death, drama, human behaviour, sound, violence, love, revolution, detailed lines and abstract prose, plumbing the depths of thoughts and feelings.

On the 27th of November 2009, Aleksandra Waliskewka will be launching her book at Designersblock . The artist lives and works in Warsaw and graduated in painting from The Academy of Fine Arts in 2001. Since then, she has had 20 solo exhibitions, as well as numerous group shows.

The book is a collection of paintings made by Waliskewka in 2009 and the launch will take place from 6 to 10 pm, with a live performance by Talvihorros , an electro-acoustic ambient musician whose carefully woven threads of melodic guitar, electronic noise and distant percussion create paradoxical feelings of relaxed warmth and unease.
